Amazing $30 Map-Making Software Bundle Is a Online Gaming GM's Dream

Following a short availability earlier this year, this cartography software collection has returned with an encore available through early December. Described as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" developed by a specialized software company throughout their history, the complete package carries a value of over $1,300. And there are three different bundles offered in this deal.

Primary Feature

The big draw is certainly a lifetime license for Campaign Cartographer 3+, a professional-grade mapping application which enables users to generate various types including epic fantasy landscapes, smaller regional maps, urban layouts, and, perhaps most importantly, tactical combat environments.

A regional fantasy map created using the CC3+ software platform.

Package Levels

Entry Level

The most affordable option, at a minimum cost of $1, includes only four from the thirty-nine available products: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Source Maps: Castles!, and Source Maps: Cities!. This package suits cartographers who already have CC3+, yet it provides new fantasy symbol styles for overworld maps, more than 750 monster tokens for use in virtual tabletops, over twenty-five top-down castle layouts with 470 associated map tokens, eight fully mapped cities, and more than 70 urban floorplans.

Mid-Range Option

The eight-item bundle starting at fifteen dollars is where things get more interesting through inclusion of permanent CC3+ access, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. The Annual represents the annual collection from ProFantasy's ongoing subscription program which includes multiple CC3+ enhancements like map collections and additional utilities. The Isometric Cities enables present urban areas in 3D perspective using angled views from multiple angles. Meanwhile, the Mapping Tome comprises 760 pages for beginners and "power users" alike, packed with guidance and instructions covering cartography techniques.

Complete Collection

Starting at thirty dollars, the comprehensive package includes all the following:

  • Advanced Terrain Generator
  • Dungeon Designer 3
  • City Designer 3
  • Cosmic Mapping System
  • Viewpoint Enhancement
  • Dioramas 3
  • Character Artist 3
  • Fantasy Interior Symbols
  • Contemporary Design Pack
  • Symbol Set 4: Dungeons of Schley
  • Schley Urban Pack
  • Monster Token Collection 2
  • Source Maps: Temples, Tombs and Catacombs
  • World War 2 Interactive Atlas
  • World Creation Guide
  • Annual Volumes 1-17
  • Campaign Cartographer 3+ (Lifetime License)
  • Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities
  • Tome of Ultimate Mapping
  • Fantasy Landscape Symbols
  • Token Treasury: Monsters 1
  • Source Maps: Castles!
  • Metropolitan Source Maps

All 17 volumes from the Annual series come with this bundle, alongside a slew of additional tools and content that can help users design entire planets or galaxies, or focus exclusively on traditional fantasy world-building: battle maps, dungeons, cities, and continents in multiple viewpoints. Users can also create character portraits. For $30 as opposed to $15, the full bundle is so worth it, especially for cartographers with temporary CC3+ access and want to upgrade to lifetime. But it's obviously more advantageous for map-making newbies since it includes the beginners' tutorials to help you get started. The sole limitation though you can redeem the deal on any platform, the applications only function on Windows.

Charitable Component

Similar to previous bundles, a portion of each sale goes to benefit a nonprofit. For this one, that's Save the Children, established in 1919 by Eglantyne Jebb focused on improving the lives of children worldwide via educational programs, medical services, and crisis response. The Bundle Filters option appear near the page top, but you can also select their donation amount on the right side of the page. There's also an "Adjust Donation" drop-down immediately below, allowing you to adjust how much of your donation goes to Humble, Profantasy, and Save the Children.
