I will overwhelm 'legitimate boxer' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to build hype for the upcoming bout.

Former two-time unified boxing king Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Boxer's Mindset

"I will damage his features and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, said.

"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I will really want to hurt him. That's what I want to do."

Respectful Interaction

In spite of these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically known for his dramatics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul instead targeted former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Fighter

In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.

Jake Paul's History

Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.

He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.

Commercial Success

Still, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's greatest financial successes, consistently making massive paydays.

Prediction and Belief

The 28 year old anticipated a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would prevent the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.

"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Paul said.

Physical Difference

As both boxers participated in the traditional confrontation, with their size difference evident, it emphasized just how unlikely this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the match is truly happening.
